About Us

raw earth wild sky is an item-driven contemporary organic line inspired
by nature's colors and seasons. Each piece is hand-made in Los Angeles, signature details
include deconstructed seams and raw hems, novelty hand-dyed, hand-stamped and
hand-painted techniques along with interesting trims applied in unusual ways to create a
raw, unique feel for each piece. The look is beautifully relaxed and broken-in, yet
well-crafted. We use only the best organic and other sustainable fabrics and
earth-friendly methods in our lines creation - except for an item or two that might need
specialist organic dry-cleaning, such as items with leather trims, all pieces wash
beautifully at cool temperatures.

We strive to make specialty pieces that are both statements in fashion as well as in
their goodness for the environment - creating beautiful, healthy and unique organic
clothing that brings environmental awareness and sustainable style to our customers.

raw earth wild sky is completely committed to hand-making the entire
line in the USA - think of it as 'in-sourcing' as opposed to 'out-sourcing'. We keep a high
standard of purity in our raw materials as well as our production and manufacture,
paying close attention to all our products, from cutting to finishing. Our contractors are
all ethically and socially responsible, paying fair wages and providing good working
conditions.

We re-use and recycle wherever possible, using only recycled plastic hangers and poly
bags for shipping that are in turn recyclable. We provide a paid request return for any
customer who prefers to return our hangers in our used boxes, which we will then
re-use for future shipping.
